MasterNooseSS.jpg (29944 bytes)

This is not your everyday grooming noose/lead.

Feature: Stainless Steel Adjustable Cam

Purpose: 1. To give positive locking.   2. To have an easy slide adjust action when unlocked.  3. To last longer.

curtis-smileicon.jpg (10911 bytes)Our Engineer's perspective and goal: "I have designed and seen many different nooses and there simply is no such thing as the perfect noose that will suit every groomers' need but  the Master Noose SS is the most versatile I have ever offered.
1. The stainless steel cam follows our tradition of using high quality stainless steel(SS) everywhere possible. This cam has a sure, solid, positive locking action when closed.  2. Most groomers like easy slide adjustment but I have met groomers who want a tighter feeling slide. I have opted for the Master Noose SS to be an easy slide action noose.  3. The SS cam takes a lot more load than the traditional chrome plated metal cams of the past. Older chrome plated cams are prone to having the cam pop out if the dog "hits down" hard enough in the noose. This is still possible with the Master Noose SS but the likelihood is greatly reduced. If the cam were to snap out, it can be snapped back into place."

single_hand_openweb.jpg (14830 bytes)

Feature:
Quick Open/Close Buckle in the neck loop.

Purpose:   To give the groomer the ability to disconnect a dog with one hand and to eliminate the need to feed a dog's head or rear feet and hip through a loop.

curtis-smileicon.jpg (10911 bytes)Our Engineer's perspective and goal: " I have two reason for this quick release buckle design:

1. I still remember the first time I saw my mother(a grooming veteran of over 15 years) put a grooming loop on the rear of a dog. Wooowwww! She would hold the two back feet together and feed the feet and hip through a closed loop!!! We have come a long ways since.  After that, I designed a noose that would allow her to click open the loop and wrap it around the hip or neck of the dog just like a wrap around snap buckle collar.  This made the procedure so simple, she started keeping a rear noose on every dog which greatly improves the safety situation for the dogs in her care. A dog with a noose on the rear cannot hang himself.

2. When you are ready to take a dog off the table, you can hold the dog in one arm and release the noose loop with the other hand. Much faster and safer than old closed loops. With old loops it takes both hands to loosen and work the noose over the dogs head for removal."

snaphookweb.jpg (8641 bytes)Feature: Easy Hold Large Snaphook.

Purpose:   To increase comfort in activating release for groomers with soar finger.

curtis-smileicon.jpg (10911 bytes)Our Engineer's perspective and goal: " In 1991 I made my first noose. The first thing my grooming mother noticed.... she did not like the small snaphook and it was harder for her to activate. Well....I used snaphooks just like those I saw at the trade show. Hmmmm. So I upsized the snaphook and this feature is standard on all of the nooses we offer."

Master_catch_ring_SS.jpg (10482 bytes)Feature: Loop Catch Ring

.Purpose:   To allow forward positioning of the dog's head and neck to prevent spinning and limit the dog's "bite range". Stop the Spinner! Stop the Backing Away! Stop those Sneaky Bites!

Our Engineer's perspective and goal: " I walked into a grooming school and watched a girl trying to curtis-smileicon.jpg (10911 bytes)groom the rear end of a Shih-tzu. Every time she positioned the dog, the dog would snap around and sit down facing her.  I put a Hanvey noose on the dog, attached the ring to the grooming post eyebolt using a #1 QLink, positioned the dog and .... "Wow!"...no more turning.   It's that simple and that is why the ring is on every noose we produce. It also helps if you are concerned about a dog being a biter. Stay outside the dogs muzzle reach and he can't sneak a bite! I have a member on the GroomersNetwork (www.GroomersNetwork.com) who sent me a thank you message because the ring 'saved her nose' by stopping a surprise bite from a snapping golden. It stopped the dog just before it could reach her face and nose!  That was a happy day for me, knowing this design prevented a surprise, severe facial bite."

Feature: Loop Catch Ring(again)

Purpose:   To stop the sitting! and the sore shoulders that come with keeping them standing!

curtis-smileicon.jpg (10911 bytes)Our Engineer's perspective and goal: " If it can be used on the front... why not the rear of the dog. It does not have to be tight fitting. The dog feels it between his legs and will stand for you .
Do you have any idea how much time and energy you waste trying to keep a dog from sitting? A lot more than you think. That unwanted sitting can be eliminated? Forever! Here's how...
Put any Hanvey noose on the rear of the dog with enough slack so you can pull the loop ring out from between the rear legs. Attach the ring to the back post and the dog can't sit! This works great for those dogs that require a regular nudge to keep them standing for you. That problem is now eliminated in a very comfortable manner for you and the dog. Your shouldersm will feel so much better!

For a heavy or very determined dog you may have to graduate up to a wide strap hip support or a belly support"
